Google Google’s New Social Networking Platform To Rival Facebook
The internet has been buzzing lately due to the newest social networking site, Google . This social network built by Google is being touted at the platform that will bring down Facebook. Google is an extremely well run network for just being in its beta phase. It has many features that are similar to ones on Facebook, but does them in a slightly different way.
The way that Google is set up is with circles. You can have different circles for friends, family, groups you belong, and more. If you are a fan to knitting, you can put all of your fellow knitters in one circle. When you go to post an update, you choose what circle you want to post to. So you can keep all your knitting updates just going to your knitting circle. You can also choose to post things publicly which means anyone can see those posts.
With the circles, you can have privacy if you need it for some posts but able to post other things publicly. This is a great feature for people who use social networking to advertise their blog or website, but still want to be able to have private conversations as well.
Google is much more streamlined than Facebook, as it doesn’t have all the clutter that comes up on a Facebook page. No annoying games on Google is a big plus for a lot of people as well. Also Google is built to work with all the other Google products, like Gmail and Picasa.
These are just a few of the great features of Google . This social networking site could very well be the wave of the future with all of its features and streamlined layout. It could very well rival or replace Facebook.
