Starting point: Icelandic National Park

Ending Point: Superior National Forest (Ely, MN)

States visited: North Dakota, Minnesota

Dining: Blueberries for breakfast, blueberries for lunch, hot dogs for dinner

Accommodations: A very crowded campground; we ended up driving around for a long time trying to find a place to stay. Our big plan for the night, trying to find a Friday night fish fry, was thwarted by the fact that we finished setting up camp well after dark, we were 10 miles away from Ely, and were generally exhausted after a long day of driving. It was a pretty nice campground, though.

Location of note: We stopped in Warroad, MN to have lunch by Lake of the Woods. It was the northernmost point of our trip.

Would we come back? If we had reservations and a couple days to rent a canoe or kayak, definitely.
